Do I need the Surface Mount Post or the In-Ground Post?
First check where you intend to install your post mount mailbox. If you are going to dig into the ground then you need the In-Ground Mounting Post, which is the most common post. If you are going to build a concrete slab or attach to existing solid surface (driveway/concrete/etc) then the Surface Mounting Post is for you.

Does this post fit with any size adoorn post mount mailbox?
Yes! This product works universally across our post mount mailbox product line. Additionally, our posts will work for mounting most other standard size post mount mailboxes.
