The Curb Appeal Problem

Your community's mailbox standard hasn't been updated in 40 years.

Most HOA mailbox specs were written decades ago, back when mail was just letters and bills. The result: every home in your community is anchored by the same dated, fading, dented box. Consistency is good. The current standard isn't. It's the easiest curb appeal upgrade you'll ever make, and the one that lifts every home in the community at once.

The aging standard.

Most HOA mailbox specs were set decades ago. They've outlived their design lifespan.

Consistency without character.

Cohesion is the floor. Real curb appeal is the ceiling. Most communities are nowhere near it.

The property value cost.

Curb appeal directly affects what homes sell for. The drag adds up across every home in the community.

+0%

Homes with strong curb appeal sell for an average of 7% more than comparable homes in the same area.

Upgrading the standard is the single highest-leverage curb appeal move an HOA can make.

Board Questions, Answered

Everything your board will ask.

Is the Adoorn mailbox USPS approved?
Yes, for curbside delivery. The Post Mount Mailbox meets all USPS regulations and is our standard for communities that get their mail at the curb. For communities with door delivery, we also offer a locking Wall Mount Mailbox. Door-delivery boxes fall outside the USPS curbside-approval program, so the Wall Mount carries the same galvanized-steel build and Limited Lifetime Warranty, without the USPS curbside designation.
What's the warranty?
Limited Lifetime Warranty on every mailbox.
Can we get a custom color?
Yes. For communities of 500 mailboxes or more, we can produce a color exclusive to your community, color-matched precisely and held for the life of the spec.
What's the typical lead time on a community order?
Standard colors typically ship within 4 to 6 weeks. Custom colors require 8 to 12 weeks for production.
Who handles installation?
Your call. Adoorn provides full install specs for HOAs using their existing maintenance vendor, or we can coordinate a managed install through our partner network.
How do you handle damaged or stolen units after install?
Replacement units in your community color are available for individual purchase by the HOA or homeowner. We maintain inventory for the lifecycle of your community spec.
What are payment terms for HOA orders?
Net 30 with approved purchase order. Phased billing available for multi-year rollouts.
Can we phase the rollout across multiple budget cycles?
Yes. Many communities phase across 1 to 3 years: damaged units first, voluntary upgrades next, full standardization in the final phase.
What if a homeowner refuses the upgrade?
This is governed by your CC&Rs and architectural guidelines. We provide spec documentation and resident communication templates to support board adoption.
Do you support architectural review committee approval?
Yes. We provide spec sheets, dimensions, drawings, and sample approval letter language to drop into your existing architectural review process.
